Nordstrom Rack signs 22,000-square-foot lease in Wellington, Fla.
The off-price retailer plans to open the store in spring 2027 at The Shoppes at Isla Verde, a center MetLife Investment Management owns.
Nordstrom Rack has signed a lease for 22,000 square feet in Wellington, Florida, the Commercial Observer reported. The new store is slated to open in spring 2027 at The Shoppes at Isla Verde, at 800-1020 South State Road 7.
Nordstrom Rack is the discount concept run by Nordstrom, selling off-price apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor and shoes. The retailer said it operates 23 Nordstrom Rack stores in Florida, including locations in Palm Beach County.
The shopping center is owned by MetLife Investment Management and is managed by Urban Retail Properties. MetLife acquired the 207,000-square-foot property in 2018 for $73.75 million, records show.
The plaza has seen tenant turnover in recent years, including a Joann Fabrics closure in 2025 and the 2023 departure of Sprouts. In addition to Nordstrom Rack, other tenants listed include Best Buy, Homesense, Total Wine & More, Petco, Old Navy, Ulta and Rack Room Shoes.
