Rhetam TMT shares jump to 52-week high after solar project commissioning

The company said testing and commissioning of its 1 MW captive ground-mounted solar power project were completed, and it expects commercial generation to begin shortly.

Rhetam TMT shares climbed as much as 3% to reach a 52-week high of ₹33.81 on NSE in Friday trading, after the company said it had completed commissioning work on a solar project. LiveMint Markets reported the stock opened at ₹33.46 versus a Thursday close of ₹32.85.

In an exchange filing dated August 6, Rhetam TMT said testing and commissioning activities for its 1 MW (AC) captive ground-mounted solar power project were successfully completed. With commissioning done, the project has achieved operational readiness and the company said it is now prepared for commercial operation.

The filing added that the company expects commercial power generation to commence shortly after completing any remaining operational formalities. It also said power expenses account for nearly 20% of its total cost structure, and that starting captive generation is expected to improve operational economics by supporting a more reliable and cost-effective energy supply.

LiveMint Markets also noted the stock has remained positive despite weak market sentiment, posting gains of 9% over the past week and more than 23% over the past month. Rhetam TMT listed on the BSE SME platform on September 5, 2022, and later migrated to the NSE main board, where shares began trading on September 26, 2025.
