Titan’s June-quarter profit rises 63% as jewellery demand stays steady

Revenue from operations climbed 40% year over year to ₹20,787 crore, while EBITDA rose 57% to ₹3,036 crore and the EBITDA margin expanded to 14.1%.

Titan, the Tata Group brand spanning jewellery to eyewear, reported a 63% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to ₹1,777 crore for the June quarter, citing steady demand in its jewellery business as a key driver, according to LiveMint Markets.

The company said revenue from operations increased 40% year over year to ₹20,787 crore. At the operating level, EBITDA rose 57% to ₹3,036 crore, and EBITDA margin expanded by 247 basis points to 14.1%.

Jewellery accounted for over 80% of Titan’s revenue and grew 43% year over year to ₹18,253 crore, excluding bullion and digi-gold sales. Within jewellery, Tanishq, Mia, and Zoya grew 38% to ₹16,943 crore, CaratLane rose 40% to ₹1,441 crore, and the international jewellery business increased 136% year over year to ₹1,309 crore.

Titan also pointed to growth outside jewellery, including watches revenue up 21% year over year to ₹1,543 crore, supported by mid-twenties growth in analog watches despite a single-digit decline in smartwatches. The retailer added 34 net stores across Titan World, Fastrack, Helios, and Helios Luxe, while eyewear revenue rose 21% year over year to ₹289 crore.
