Tenable expands Tenable One AI security coverage to include Google Gemini
The company said it detected 457 million AI-related security issues across more than 7,000 organizations during a 30-day period, supporting its pitch for broader AI exposure management.
Tenable Holdings, trading as TENB, said it has expanded its Tenable One platform to cover Google Gemini, adding it to a list that already included Anthropic Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise, and Microsoft Copilot. The coverage also extends discovery across major LLMs, Model Context Protocol deployments, and AI-native development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and Trae.
The company framed the move as part of an effort to help security teams find and act on AI-related risks, stating it detected 457 million AI-related security issues across more than 7,000 organizations over 30 days. Tenable One AI Exposure now also claims roughly double coverage of sanctioned and shadow AI in a single release, and it enables actions like creating Jira or ServiceNow tickets or sending alerts via email, Slack, or Teams.
Tenable also tied the product rollout to improving results. It said Tenable One made up half of new sales in the second quarter, while second-quarter revenue was $268.5 million, ahead of management's guided range of $263 million to $266 million.
Tenable reported operating expenses of $195.8 million, down from $200.3 million a year earlier, turning a $14.7 million net loss into a $3.8 million net profit. Adjusted profit rose 40% to $57.9 million, and the stock is up more than 40% in 2026, with the article citing a price-to-sales ratio of 3.0.
