Dutch Bros shares drop 19% after Q2 results
The company reported 32.5% year over year revenue growth and 40% growth in diluted EPS for the quarter ended June 30, while opening 48 new stores.
Dutch Bros shares fell sharply, dropping 19% on Aug. 6, the day after the company released its second-quarter results for the quarter ended June 30, according to Yahoo Finance.
The company posted 32.5% year over year revenue growth, with diluted earnings per share rising 40% and 48 new stores opened during the quarter, the outlet reported.
Yahoo Finance also highlighted that Dutch Bros plans to open 185 net new coffee shops in 2026 and aims to reach 2,029 total locations by 2029, up from 1,225 currently.
The outlet further said systemwide same-store sales rose 5.8% last quarter, extending what it described as a 19-year streak of positive growth, and that sell-side analysts expect revenue to grow at a 27% compound annual rate between 2025 and 2028.
