Palantir shares surge after Q2 results and raised guidance

Palantir posted Q2 revenue up 93% year over year to $1.935 billion and delivered GAAP net income of $1.062 billion, or $0.41 per diluted share.

Palantir Technologies shares jumped after it reported a blowout Q2 2026 earnings report and raised guidance, underscoring renewed investor focus on its AI and data integration platform business. Yahoo Finance said the stock closed at $125.65, then rose nearly 15% in after-hours trading to around $144.45.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Palantir reported revenue of $1.935 billion, up 93% year over year, beating analyst estimates of about $1.8 billion. The company also delivered GAAP net income of $1.062 billion, or $0.41 per diluted share, topping a consensus EPS estimate of $0.34.

The article noted Palantir had faced headwinds earlier in the year, with the stock down about 29% prior to the earnings release. It also highlighted that the latest performance outpaced the broader S&P 500 Information Technology Index, supported by the company’s AI and defense technology positioning.

Yahoo Finance added that Palantir serves government agencies and commercial enterprises and helps clients turn fragmented data into actionable intelligence using its platforms including Gotham, Foundry, Apollo and its AI Platform (AIP).
