Swaraj Suiting nears 52-week high after Q1FY27 profit doubles

The company reported Q1FY27 revenue of ₹183.37 crore, up 138.8% year over year, and net profit of ₹16.22 crore, up 100.2%.

Swaraj Suiting shares rose nearly 1% on August 10 and traded close to their 52-week high after the company posted strong results for the June quarter, according to LiveMint Markets.

In Q1FY27, revenue from operations jumped 138.8% year over year to ₹183.37 crore, while EBITDA climbed 46.8% to ₹35.52 crore. The EBITDA margin was 19.4%, and the company noted the figure is not directly comparable with Q1FY26 due to inventory gains in the year-ago period.

Net profit more than doubled to ₹16.22 crore, up 100.2% year over year, and EPS increased 66.9% to ₹6.16. Swaraj Suiting said the 19.4% margin sits within its guided range of 18% to 20%, reflecting a normalised business scenario.

The firm also said construction of its Ring Spinning Division, Open End Spinning Division, and Technical Textiles Pilot Division is progressing, with commercial production expected to start by Q1FY28. Separately, the company received in-principle approval from the NSE to migrate from the Emerge SME platform to the main board, and it reported receiving ₹20.50 crore under government incentive schemes, bringing aggregate subsidy over the past two months to ₹27.54 crore.
