SharpLink posts $394M Q2 net loss as Ether falls 23%
The loss included $321M in unrealized crypto losses and $76M in impairments tied to staked Ether tokens, while revenue totaled $11.5M.
SharpLink reported a $394 million net loss for the second quarter of 2026, attributing the result largely to a sharp drop in Ether during the period, according to Cointelegraph.
Cointelegraph reported that Ether declined about 23% in Q2, and SharpLink said the quarterly loss included $321 million in unrealized crypto losses plus $76 million in impairments on staked Ether tokens.
SharpLink generated $11.5 million in revenue in the quarter, including $11.1 million from ETH staking. Cointelegraph also said the company’s cash and cash equivalents rose to $56 million from $28 million in December 2025.
Cointelegraph further reported that SharpLink holds 632,784 Ether worth about $1.2 billion, and an additional 181,321 ETH worth about $343 million through liquid staked Ether tokens, with Ether price exposure contributing to the quarter’s outcome. The company also resumed Ether purchases with a $7.8 million buy in late June after an eight month pause.
