GE Vernova books Indian wind order for Fatehgarh project
GE Vernova will supply 43 onshore turbines under a 163.4 megawatt deal, with shipments scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
GE Vernova has added an Indian wind contract to its order book, agreeing to supply 43 onshore turbines to Enfinity Global for the 163.4 megawatt Fatehgarh Wind Farm in Rajasthan, according to Yahoo Finance.
The turbines are GE Vernova’s 3.8 megawatt, 154 meter model, and the equipment is expected to start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2026 from the company’s Pune plant.
While the outlet described the wind deal as small relative to GE Vernova’s larger gas turbine and grid businesses, it framed India wind wins as continuing even as the broader wind segment has faced pressure, with wind orders down 11% globally in the first half of 2026.
Yahoo Finance also linked the company’s wider demand momentum to data-center driven power orders, saying total orders rose 89% year over year in the first half of 2026 and that GE Vernova lifted its free cash flow guidance multiple times in 2026, moving from $4.5 billion to $5 billion at the December outlook to $11.5 billion to $12.5 billion today.
