Hims & Hers shifts to AI care and expands branded weight loss
In 2H 2026, the company expects adjusted EBITDA to step up as weight loss cohorts acquired earlier begin to mature.
Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is leaning further into branded weight loss and an AI-native care model as part of its operating strategy, according to a summary of its Q2 2026 earnings call on Yahoo Finance.
Management said the company’s performance acceleration in part came from a March pivot to expand branded weight loss offerings, which it said helped offset revenue recognition headwinds tied to a shift to monthly cadences.
The company also described the Eucalyptus acquisition as transforming it into a global platform, adding three international markets running above a $100 million annual run rate and supporting cross-selling across core specialties.
Looking ahead, management indicated that AI is handling 80% of customer questions in the Hers weight loss category, and it expects a meaningful step-up in adjusted EBITDA in the second half of 2026 as earlier weight loss cohorts begin to stack and mature.
