IRCTC posts June quarter profit of ₹330.16 crore
Revenue grew 18.1% year on year to ₹1,369.53 crore, but declined 6.2% sequentially, with tourism revenue dropping sharply versus the March quarter.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation reported consolidated net profit of ₹330.16 crore for the June-ending quarter, marginally below ₹330.71 crore in the year-ago period. Profit increased 1.2% sequentially from ₹326.40 crore in the March quarter, according to LiveMint Markets.
The company said revenue from operations rose 18.1% year on year to ₹1,369.53 crore, up from ₹1,159.7 crore. On a sequential basis, revenue declined 6.2% from ₹1,460 crore in the prior quarter.
Segment results showed mixed trends. Catering revenue rose 33.9% year on year to ₹732.26 crore and was up 9.2% sequentially, while Rail Neer was nearly flat year on year at ₹113.91 crore but up 13.8% sequentially. Internet ticketing revenue edged up 0.6% year on year to ₹361 crore but fell 7.5% sequentially.
Tourism revenue rose 13.8% year on year to ₹168.07 crore but fell sharply sequentially from ₹303.58 crore in the March quarter. At the operating level, EBITDA was around ₹386 crore, and the EBITDA margin was around 28.18%, compared with approximately 34% in Q1 FY26, LiveMint Markets added.
