National Vision boosts 2026 outlook after higher-value customer push

Second-quarter net revenue rose 2.5% to $498.8 million, while adjusted operating income jumped 32.7% to $31.6 million.

National Vision Holdings, Inc. reported a stronger second quarter and raised its 2026 fiscal outlook, citing momentum from higher-value transactions, managed care customers, and ticket growth. Yahoo Finance said net revenue increased 2.5% year over year to $498.8 million.

The company posted net income of $12.4 million, up from $8.7 million a year earlier, and lifted its net income margin to 2.5% from 1.8%. Diluted earnings per share rose to $0.15 from $0.11, according to the report.

Adjusted operating income increased 32.7% to $31.6 million. National Vision also said it updated its 2026 fiscal outlook, now targeting adjusted operating income of $119 million to $139 million, compared with the prior range of $107 million to $133 million.

CEO Alex Wilkes said the company stayed disciplined in its growth approach, with a focus on shifting toward a healthier customer base, improving product mix and customer experience, and maintaining cost discipline, while achieving stronger profitability.
