Oklo shares fall after first revenue milestone fails to offset losses

Oklo reported $1.2 million in Q2 2026 revenue, but widened its loss to $0.28 per share and said operating cash use rose to $65.5 million for the six months ended June 30.

Oklo reported its first-ever revenues, driven by progress at its Texas facility reaching criticality, but investors still pushed the stock lower as losses widened, according to Yahoo Finance. The company is focused on advanced nuclear power using fast-fission small modular reactors, backed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Yahoo Finance said Oklo posted Q2 2026 revenue of $1.2 million, topping Street expectations of $70,000. Still, the company’s losses expanded to $0.28 per share from $0.18 per share a year earlier, and that figure also exceeded estimates for a $0.16 per-share loss.

In the same coverage, Yahoo Finance noted that Oklo’s net cash used in operating activities for the six months ended June 30, 2026 rose to $65.5 million from $30.7 million. The outlet also said Oklo increased its cash balance from the start of the year to $1.6 billion, with short-term debt at about $1 million, while shares were down 8% in the latest session.
