Porter Kyle has opened The Wayne, a 100-unit build-to-rent townhome community in Chandler, Arizona, according to ConnectCRE. Residents have begun moving in, and the community’s clubhouse and first four buildings have been transitioned to Mark-Taylor for ongoing lease-up and property management.

ConnectCRE says the project capped a 20-month build by Porter Kyle Builders, delivered on schedule and under budget. Porter Kyle’s Taylor Shultz said the community was designed to compete with for-sale product on quality while giving renters the flexibility of leasing, and that early absorption has shown strong interest from day one.

The Wayne offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes with direct-access two-car garages and private backyards. Community amenities include a resident clubhouse with coworking spaces and private offices, a fitness center, pool and outdoor kitchen, a dog park, and a trail system.
