Revolution Medicines expands Asia oncology pipeline with BeOne deal
The collaboration includes clinical combination studies and gives BeOne exclusive development and commercialization rights to four Revolution Medicines RAS inhibitors in select Asian markets, with Revolution Medicines receiving milestone payments and tiered royalties.
Revolution Medicines (NASDAQ: RVMD) said on August 10 it has entered a multi-part collaboration with BeOne Medicines that pairs clinical development with a regional rights agreement for oncology assets across Asia.
The pact includes studies testing combinations of BeOne's PRMT5 inhibitor BGB-58067 and its trispecific antibody BG-T187 with Revolution Medicines' four clinical-stage RAS(-ON) inhibitors: daraxonrasib, zoldonrasib, elironrasib, and RMC-5127.
Separately, the rights agreement grants BeOne exclusive development and commercialization rights to those four inhibitors in select Asian markets, while Revolution Medicines keeps rights elsewhere, including Japan and South Korea.
According to Yahoo Finance, Revolution Medicines will receive milestone payments and tiered royalties on regional sales, and BeOne will fund and run a global Phase 3 study for one of the inhibitors.
