USDCHF holds above key hourly moving averages but capped below 0.8151

The pair has been trading within a wider 0.8029 to 0.8151 range, with resistance near 0.8138 to 0.8151 and a session high of 0.8145.

USDCHF is staying supported on an intraday basis, holding above both its 100-hour and 200-hour moving averages near 0.8107 and 0.8101, according to technical levels outlined by Forexlive.

The pair has mostly contained its recent price action within a broader 0.8029 to 0.8151 range, with brief attempts beyond those extremes failing to produce a sustained directional break.

In the latest session, USDCHF’s low reached 0.8113 before buyers stepped in, lifting the pair back toward a swing resistance area between 0.8138 and 0.8151, where the high printed at 0.8145.

Forexlive said traders are likely to look for a more decisive bullish signal only if USDCHF can get and stay above 0.8151, while a drop back below the 0.8107 and 0.8101 moving averages would shift the near-term bias back lower toward 0.8060 to 0.8070 and then the range’s lower end near 0.8030.
