Kalshi must stop Washington politics, sports and election wagers
A King County judge ordered the exchange to end those offerings in Washington by August 19 after litigation involving regulators.
Kalshi has been ordered to halt its sports, election and politics wagering offerings in Washington state, according to Decrypt.
A King County judge granted the exchange until August 19 to stop taking those bets in the state, Decrypt reported.
The move comes days after the CFTC backed Kalshi’s effort, Decrypt added, setting a near-term deadline for the exchange to comply with the court order.
