Sandisk shares jump 6% after bullish outlook for 2028 to 2030

The company expects annual revenue growth in the mid-to-high teens from 2028 through 2030 and non-GAAP gross margins around 80%.

Sandisk stock jumped 6% on Friday, extending gains after a 13% rise in the prior session, as investors reacted to the flash memory maker's targets shared at an investor day. According to Yahoo Finance, Wall Street focused on Sandisk's long-term growth outlook for 2028 through 2030, including expected annual revenue growth in the mid-to-high teens and non-GAAP gross margins of about 80%. Analysts also cited improved confidence in the sustainability of Sandisk's pricing and a business model they view as less volatile through the cycle. Yahoo Finance added that Sandisk's improved outlook is tied to confidence built around agreements that involve US hyperscalers, and it noted that the financial structure of those deals helped shape expectations for continued momentum in a sector historically marked by cyclicality. Raymond James said management provided guidance toward margins, returns, and lower volatility despite demand and pricing remaining volatile. Sandisk, which spun off from Western Digital in February 2025, has been among the biggest winners in 2026 as memory and storage have become bottlenecks for AI infrastructure build-outs. The outlet reported the stock has gained more than 540% year to date, though investors have periodically worried about memory pricing and the risk of eventual oversupply.
