The Goldman Sachs Nasdaq-100 Premium Income ETF (GPIQ) charges a 29 bps fee and uses a call-options overlay on 25% to 75% of holdings.
ETF Trends reports that the Goldman Sachs Nasdaq-100 Premium Income ETF (GPIQ) has added $2.5 billion in year-to-date inflows, pushing its total assets under management above $5 billion as of August 14.
The fund charges a 29 basis point fee and targets Nasdaq-100 names using an options-overlay approach that sells call options on 25% to 75% of investments. It can also use FLEX options to potentially add income, including dividend income from its equities.
According to Goldman Sachs Investments data cited by ETF Trends, GPIQ posted a 10.12% 12-month trailing distribution rate as of July 31, while outperforming its ETF Database category average. The fund returned 17.1% year to date, compared with 11.9% for the ETF Database Large Cap Blend equities category average.
ETF Trends also notes GPIQ is set to reach a three-year ETF performance milestone in October, after launching in 2023. That timing would make its full three-year track record available and support broader distribution to additional brokerages.
