Bybit launches pre-IPO perpetuals tied to Unitree and Moonshot AI
The new contracts are USDT-denominated and cash-settled, giving traders exposure to the private names before they list publicly.
Cointelegraph reports that Dubai-based crypto exchange Bybit has launched pre-IPO perpetual contracts linked to Chinese robotics firm Unitree and AI startup Moonshot AI, as the exchange expands its private-market trading lineup.
Bybit said the contracts are USDT-denominated and settled in cash, allowing traders to gain price exposure without owning the underlying shares, which would begin trading publicly at a later date.
The exchange framed the move as part of a broader shift by crypto platforms into pre-listing products, and it noted that its TradFi perpetuals lineup has grown to more than 200 products since launching in April across equities, ETFs, commodities, and indices, plus pre-IPO companies.
Cointelegraph also tied the launch to wider momentum in “onchain equities,” citing RWA.xyz data showing tokenized stocks reached $2.38 billion in distributed value and 1.31 million holders, with holders up 123.6% over the past 30 days.
