Ralph Lauren shares rise as Q1 revenue and earnings beat estimates

The company reported fiscal first quarter revenue of $1.96 billion and raised its full year fiscal 2027 revenue growth outlook to 5% to 6%.

Ralph Lauren Corporation shares have gained, rising 33.8% over the past year and 7.3% year to date, following the company’s fiscal first quarter update, according to Yahoo Finance.

In that quarter, Ralph Lauren posted quarterly revenue of $1.96 billion and adjusted earnings of $4.59 per share, beating analyst estimates of $1.87 billion and $4.32.

For fiscal 2027, the company increased its revenue growth forecast to 5% to 6% from 4% to 5%, and it pointed to performance metrics including 14% revenue growth in Q1 and 37 consecutive quarters of higher average retail unit price.

The article also noted margin and demand strength, including a gross margin increase of 140 to 180 basis points and a 6% jump in direct-to-consumer same store sales globally, while highlighting potential vulnerability to macro slowdowns and any shift toward more frequent discounting in North America.
