BitMart faces demands for founder to explain funds status

BitMart’s Chinese-language X account requested an Aug. 19 repayment plan, as Sheldon Xia denied claims of blocked withdrawals and unpaid salaries.

BitMart is in the spotlight after its Chinese-language X account demanded that founder Sheldon Xia explain the status of the company’s funds and outlined a deadline for response.

According to Cointelegraph, the account asked for an Aug. 19 repayment plan.

Xia pushed back on allegations circulating about BitMart, calling the claims of blocked withdrawals and non-payment of salaries fabricated rumors, the outlet reported.
