Goldman expects the Fed to stay on hold in September
Goldman Sachs expects the Federal Reserve to refrain from hiking interest rates in September, according to MarketWatch.
The firm said the Fed would likely remain on hold unless economic or market conditions turn dramatically, as opposed to making a routine move.
With that expectation, the focus shifts to incoming data that could change the trajectory for rate expectations ahead of the September decision.
