The T. Rowe Price Health Care ETF, TMED, charges a 44-basis-point fee to invest actively in health care stocks globally, spanning pharmaceuticals, biotech, and health care services.
TMED uses a bottom-up approach that combines growth and value to identify about 100 to 150 stocks, with holdings primarily focused on the MSCI GICS health care sector, and it benchmarks against the S&P Health Care Select Sector Index.
ETF Trends highlighted that TMED has returned about 19.0% year to date and 49.1% over the past 12 months, outperforming its benchmark, which returned 8.0% year to date and 28.2% over the last 12 months per ETF Database data.
