Felix Industries shares rise more than 3% after strong Q1 FY27
LiveMint Markets said Q1 FY27 revenue increased 37.8% year on year to ₹28.97 crore, and PAT jumped 54.5% to ₹5.51 crore.
Felix Industries shares gained more than 3% on Tuesday, 18 August, even as broader market conditions were described as muted, after the environmental engineering firm reported strong results for the first quarter of FY27, LiveMint Markets reported.
The company posted a 37.8% year-on-year increase in total revenue to ₹28.97 crore, while profitability improved faster than revenue, with EBITDA rising 64.2% year on year to ₹9.81 crore.
Felix Industries said its EBITDA margin expanded to 34.79% from 28.99%, and PAT increased 54.5% year on year to ₹5.51 crore, with PAT margin moving to 19.53%. The firm attributed the improvement to higher operating leverage and the normalization of project-related overheads and manpower costs, even as revenue moderated sequentially due to its project driven model.
The company maintained its FY27 guidance, including consolidated revenue of ₹180–200 crore and EBITDA of ₹54–62 crore, implying a 30–31% margin range, and said growth is expected from EPC execution, recurring O&M revenue, expansion in Oman, and resource recovery opportunities. Shares reportedly opened at an intraday low of ₹183.
