Cantor to offer institutional block trades on Kalshi prediction markets
The bank will broker large block event-contract trades for about 3,000 institutional clients on Kalshi, with Susquehanna providing pricing and liquidity.
Cantor Fitzgerald will extend access to Kalshi’s CFTC-regulated prediction markets for roughly 3,000 institutional clients, using block-trade execution aimed at scaling participation beyond retail activity, according to CoinDesk.
Cantor plans to act as the broker for the block trades, while Susquehanna International Group will provide institutional-scale pricing and liquidity for the transactions on Kalshi.
The announcement positions the Wall Street firm as building trading infrastructure around prediction markets, with the goal of enabling investors to transact at scale on a regulated venue.
CoinDesk also notes Kalshi has been working to broaden its offerings beyond retail-focused event trading, including completing its first block trade earlier this year and partnering with Interactive Brokers.
