Sandisk points to mid to high teen revenue growth, boosting Micron outlook
Sandisk forecast mid to high teens revenue growth for fiscal 2028 to 2030, a longer runway that could help underpin memory demand as supply ramps.
Sandisk signaled a more durable growth path for the memory and flash-storage market, and the guidance is being treated by investors as a potential positive for Micron Technology, another major memory chip maker. According to Yahoo Finance, Sandisk held an Investor Day where it unveiled long-term guidance expecting revenue growth in the mid to high teens between its fiscal years 2028 and 2030. The companys fiscal year ends in late June or early July.
The outlet noted that such expectations arrive amid investor debate over whether the industry supply shortage is nearing an end as more capacity comes online. Even so, Sandisk’s longer-term outlook is framed as evidence that demand for memory components may remain strong.
Yahoo Finance also highlighted how Micron’s business spans high-bandwidth memory and DRAM, which are tied to short-term performance needs for smartphones and computers, while Sandisk focuses on flash storage aimed at longer-term use. With growth supported by AI-linked compute demand, the guidance is positioned as a reason the memory shortage may not ease immediately.
