Santo Taco subleases Dig Inn space at 232 Bleecker Street
The off-market sublease covers 2,800 square feet and runs until 2041, with Santo Taco opening the new location next month.
Santo Taco is subleasing the space that previously housed Dig Inn in Manhattan’s West Village, taking over the 2,800-square-foot street-level and below-grade premises at 232 Bleecker Street, according to Commercial Observer. The Mexican food concept is set to move in at the corner of Bleecker and Carmine streets.
The sublease runs until 2041. ManagRE, cited by Commercial Observer, did not disclose the asking rent, and Meerkat Development is managing the buildout of the space.
Commercial Observer reports that the average asking rent in nearby retail corridors in the Meatpacking District was $252 per square foot in the second quarter of 2026, citing CBRE. Navin Bhutani of ManagRE was the sole broker on the deal.
Santo Taco is already operating two locations at 114 Kenmare Street and 94 University Place, with the new site scheduled to open next month. The outlet also notes that Dig Inn did not respond to a comment request, and Steven Fuchs, the property owner, was not reached for comment.
