Douglas Elliman broker Jonathan Stein helped sell a SoHo penthouse for $26M
Stein’s team of eight brokers has handled transactions from $1 million to more than $15 million, including the $26 million sale at 73 Wooster Street.
Jonathan Stein, a 43-year-old broker at Douglas Elliman, oversees a team of eight brokers and has worked on residential deals ranging from $1 million to over $15 million, according to Commercial Observer.
Stein and team member Gavin Shiminski helped former New York Mets and current Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler sell his SoHo penthouse at 73 Wooster Street for $26 million.
Commercial Observer said the transaction was among the five largest sales in New York City in July.
Stein joined the real estate business in 2015 after a stint in private equity and time serving as a tour manager for his best friend’s rock band, Phantogram, and he described his path into real estate as the result of needing a new career direction.
