American Century corporate bond ETF KORP nears $1B in assets

KORP had $917.0 million in assets as of the latest ETF Database figures, up nearly $200 million over six months and more than $250 million year to date.

American Century Diversified Corporate Bond ETF KORP is approaching a major scale milestone, with its assets nearing $1 billion, according to ETF Trends. The actively managed corporate bond ETF aims to generate income from U.S. corporate debt.

KORP charges a 29 basis point fee and invests primarily in investment grade credit, while using an active remit to selectively adjust risk and potentially increase yield. The strategy draws on insights from American Century Investments head of corporate credit Jason Greenblath, and it seeks opportunities across areas of the so-called bifurcated corporates market.

The fund has benefited from its ability to respond to changes in specific securities, including situations tied to capital structures. ETF Trends notes that KORP can target niche offerings, such as perpetual bonds with idiosyncratic rules, which may be harder for passive products to access.

Recent performance metrics highlighted by the outlet include a 5.48% 30-day SEC unsubsidized yield as of July 31, based on American Century Investments data. ETF Trends said the $1 billion AUM mark appears within reach this year, given current growth momentum.
