Fasset hits unicorn status after $68 million SBI-led Series C

The stablecoin neobanking platform said the round follows a $51 million Series B in May, bringing 2026 fundraising to $119 million.

Fasset, a stablecoin-focused neobanking platform, reached unicorn status after raising $68 million in a Series C round led by Japan’s SBI Group, valuing the company at $1 billion, The Block reported. The Los Angeles-based firm said it plans to use the funding to expand Own Network, its regulated financial infrastructure that links banks, payment providers, liquidity providers, and other institutions across more than 100 banking corridors. Fasset also intends to invest in AI-enabled systems for corridor banking, stablecoin settlement, and tokenized assets. The company positioned the effort around scaling “any-to-any” banking and asset movement, according to statements shared with The Block. The Block added that the Series C follows Fasset’s $51 million Series B in May, bringing total funding raised in 2026 to $119 million. It cited The Block data showing total USD-pegged stablecoin supply has grown to more than $290 billion, with Tether’s USDT accounting for more than $183 billion and Circle’s USDC for $73.6 billion.
