Nvidia set to report Q2 results on Aug. 26 amid strong AI demand
The preview points to Nvidia’s data-center business as the main growth driver, after fiscal Q1 revenue rose 85% year over year to about $81.6 billion.
Nvidia (NVDA) is scheduled to release its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on Wednesday, Aug. 26, with the company positioned to benefit from demand for AI infrastructure products, according to Yahoo Finance. The preview argues Nvidia’s valuation is attractive relative to its earnings growth outlook, and that continued AI spending by hyperscalers should remain a tailwind for revenue and profits.
Yahoo Finance highlights that major cloud and AI developers have adopted Nvidia GPUs, networking solutions, and its broader AI infrastructure platform, supporting expectations for upbeat guidance. In fiscal Q1 2027, Nvidia generated about $81.6 billion in revenue, an 85% year-over-year increase, and it reported that data-center revenue totaled $75.2 billion, up 92% year over year and 21% sequentially. Management attributed part of the momentum to strong adoption of its Blackwell architecture.
The article also notes Blackwell and Blackwell Ultra systems are expected to remain in solid demand, while Hopper-based products continue to see healthy demand, and it says Nvidia’s networking business is becoming increasingly important as AI data centers require faster interconnections.
