Stand With Crypto backs 32 pro-crypto House candidates ahead of midterms
The Coinbase-backed group previously helped drive crypto spending in the 2024 cycle, including Fairshake’s $12 million effort in Ohio.
Crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto, backed by Coinbase, is ramping up its midterm push by endorsing 32 House candidates it describes as pro-crypto, according to The Block.
The group said it plans to name Senate candidates it supports closer to Election Day, while it continues to position crypto voters as a key bloc in Washington’s policy debate.
Stand With Crypto said the midterms represent a key inflection point for crypto policy as candidates from both parties seek support beyond their traditional constituencies, adding that overlooking crypto voters carries political risk.
The Block reports the group and the broader crypto industry played a major role in 2024 through super PAC spending, including Fairshake’s $12 million in Ohio for crypto-friendly Republican Bernie Moreno, who defeated Sherrod Brown.
