U.S. ETF inflows hit record $193.4B in July, driving $1.23T YTD

July marked a record month for U.S.-listed ETF net inflows, while ETFGI said U.S. ETF assets ended July at $15.74 trillion.

U.S.-listed ETFs pulled in record net inflows of $193.42 billion in July, bringing total year-to-date inflows to $1.23 trillion, according to ETFGI’s July 2026 U.S. ETF industry report cited by ETF Trends.

ETFGI data also showed global ETF assets reached a record $23.11 trillion at the end of July, with the U.S. accounting for about 68% of that total.

Within the U.S., equity ETFs were the biggest draw, collecting $567.25 billion through July, more than double the $249.69 billion gathered over the same period in 2025, per the report.

U.S. ETF assets ended July at $15.74 trillion and rose 17.3% year over year from $13.43 trillion at the end of 2025. ETF Trends also noted that the three largest ETF providers control 70.6% of U.S. ETF assets, with iShares leading at $4.53 trillion and a 28.8% share.
