Bitwise launches tokenized stock Automated Token Portfolios for theme exposure
The automated portfolios use Coinbase tokenized U.S. stocks, implemented via Glider, with a 0.15% methodology access fee excluding trading and platform fees.
Bitwise, the $9 billion crypto asset manager, has launched Automated Token Portfolios that let eligible non-U.S. users automatically replicate and rebalance rules-based model portfolios of Coinbase tokenized U.S. stocks while keeping assets in self-custody wallets, The Block reported.
The portfolios are powered by Coinbase's tokenized stocks and implemented through Glider. Bitwise said the initial themes include the Mag 7 plus SpaceX, robotics, and AI leaders.
Bitwise Investment Manager designs the published model portfolios, which charge a 0.15% methodology access fee, excluding trading and platform fees. The firm also said the tokenized stocks remain in investors' non-custodial wallets at all times.
The Block also noted Bitwise said self-custody could create opportunities for investors to lend or borrow against the tokenized stock holdings on DeFi protocols, subject to applicable risks.
