HP executive says Gen Z can use AI to work more efficiently
HP points to its 2025 Work Relationship Index report, saying only 20% of knowledge workers have a healthy relationship with work.
HP’s North American senior vice president and managing director, George Brasher, said Gen Z’s comfort with technology can help young employees build a healthier relationship with work, according to commentary shared with Moneywise and carried by Yahoo Finance.
Brasher said the key lesson for teams is to stay curious, combining experience with openness to new ways of thinking and working, and he highlighted that Gen Z often adapts quickly to tools that can improve how they solve problems.
He added that Gen Z can use AI most effectively by taking more routine or repetitive tasks off their plate, freeing time for relationship building, earning trust, and understanding what people need.
Yahoo Finance also notes that HP’s 2025 Work Relationship Index Report found the share of knowledge workers reporting a healthy relationship with work dropped to 20%.
