Landmark Properties opens 429-unit student housing near USC in LA

Landmark Properties has delivered The Standard at Los Angeles, a new student housing community at 3900 South Figueroa St. in Los Angeles. The property includes 429 units and 1,261 beds, positioned about 0.3 miles from the University of Southern California.

The project rises eight stories and was designed by HED, with Landmark Construction, the company’s in-house construction arm, serving as the general contractor. Landmark said it expects to welcome its first residents to a site near USC’s campus and major venues including BMO Stadium and Memorial Coliseum.

ConnectCRE reports the delivery marks Landmark’s second ground-up development in Los Angeles. The company also cited its broader local activity, including its 2025 development, The Mark Los Angeles near UCLA, and the acquisitions of Icon Plaza and West 27th Place to serve students attending USC.
