Zcash climbs to an eight-year high as perpetual futures surge
ZEC broke above $880 as open interest in perpetual futures rose to $1.8 billion.
Zcash (ZEC) jumped to levels not seen in roughly eight years, with the token moving above the $880 mark, according to Decrypt.
The move was accompanied by a sharp rise in derivatives activity, as open interest in Zcash perpetual futures climbed to $1.8 billion.
Decrypt also reported that market participants are increasingly placing bets via perpetual futures, with that positioning nearly doubling.
