Applied Nutrition expects adjusted EBITDA to beat forecasts for 2026

The London-listed sports-nutrition firm forecasts 2026 adjusted EBITDA of about £43.3m, up 40% year on year, and projects 2027 revenue near £205m.

Applied Nutrition said its board expects underlying performance for the 2026 financial year to come in ahead of market expectations, with adjusted EBITDA forecast to rise to approximately £43.3m, up 40% year on year.

In its trading update, the UK-based food-and-drinks group projected revenue growth of 50% to £160m for the year, and said trading since 1 June has remained strong, with sustained demand across its markets and channels.

The company noted that the adjusted EBITDA figure excludes the impact of its June acquisition of assets from US sports nutrition manufacturer Nutrablend Group, a deal it valued at $16m in cash and that included a freehold manufacturing and logistics site in Buffalo, New York.

Applied Nutrition also flagged margin pressure ahead, saying significantly higher whey protein costs are expected to weigh on results and that its EBITDA margin for the 2027 fiscal year will likely decline slightly from the prior year. The firm is due to release its full-year figures on or around 16 November.
