Lion Group keeps $15.8 million in Hyperliquid tokens on its books
The company said it has not sold any HYPE tokens since establishing a roughly 195,000-token position, leaving its treasury exposed to the token price.
Lion Group Holding Ltd. said it remains committed to holding Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens as part of its cryptocurrency treasury management strategy, keeping its approximate 195,000-token allocation in place.
In its update, the company valued the HYPE holdings at about $15.8 million as of August 24, 2026, and said it has not sold any tokens since setting the position.
Lion Group said it will continue monitoring market developments, but provided no timetable for changing or expanding the allocation.
The company also pointed to increased attention around the Hyperliquid ecosystem, citing protocol upgrades, ongoing trading activity including on-chain perpetuals, and public discussion of potential U.S. regulatory pathways along with integration efforts and institutional interest tied to spot HYPE ETFs, according to Yahoo Finance.
