The privately placed PI0055 Grantham notes have a due date of December 7, 2026 and are listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Artemis reports that Artex Axcell Re, the Bermuda risk transformer entity operated by Artex Risk Solutions, has issued and placed $20 million of Artex Axcell Re, PI0055 Grantham private catastrophe bond notes.
The issuance is part of Artex Axcell Re (Bermuda) Limited’s ILS Note Program II and is executed on behalf of a segregated account with the same name, with the Artex Capital Solutions division managing and administering the structure.
Artemis says the $20 million of PI0055 Grantham notes carry a due date of December 7, 2026, and were privately placed with qualified institutional investors before being listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).
Artemis also notes the transaction is the fifth privately placed catastrophe bond issuance it has tracked from the Artex Axcell Re transformer and cell facility in 2026, bringing privately placed cat bonds tracked across all issuers to just over $403 million year to date.
