New World Liberty crypto bank backed by Abu Dhabi sheikh
The Wall Street Journal Markets reports that the newly announced World Liberty crypto bank is backed by an Abu Dhabi sheikh, who holds an influential stake through an Emirati entity described as a supporter behind the bank.
According to the report, the sheikh is tied to a 49% stake in the entity behind World Liberty bank.
The outlet says the backing forms part of the bank’s backing structure as it prepares to operate in the crypto space.
