BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings said it will open a new club location in Tyler, Texas on August 21, building on its earlier debut in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to Yahoo Finance. The move supports an accelerated physical expansion plan, with BJ targeting 25 to 30 new clubs every two years.

Yahoo Finance also reported that, on the same day, BJ posted strong Q2 fiscal 2026 results. Total revenues rose 15.7% year over year to $6.22 billion, while total comparable club sales increased 11.9% year over year, with digital comps up 30% and net income up 15.4% to $173.86 million.

The retailer said diluted EPS was $1.36, up from $1.14 a year earlier, and membership fee income climbed 9.9% to $135.6 million. It cited higher retention and a record membership base of 8.5 million.

Backed by the results, management raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $4.60–$4.80, as detailed by Yahoo Finance. The article added that BJ’s operating cash flow reached $541.4 million through the first six months, giving the company liquidity to fund expansion and digital investments.
