Hyperliquid in talks to bring crypto perps to US traders
Any deal would route Hyperliquid’s perpetual futures through Payward’s US-regulated Bitnomial, marking Hyperliquid’s first US market entry.
Hyperliquid is reportedly in talks with the parent of Kraken, Payward, to bring crypto perpetual futures, or crypto perps, to US traders, according to Decrypt.
The plan centers on routing Hyperliquid’s decentralized exchange perps through Payward’s US-regulated venue, Bitnomial, as part of Hyperliquid’s first entry into the United States.
The development comes weeks after US President Donald Trump said his administration was working to bring Hyperliquid onshore, Decrypt reported.
If finalized, the arrangement would change how US traders access Hyperliquid’s perps, by using a US-regulated intermediary rather than purely offshore access.
