Marsh Rebrands Guy Carpenter as Marsh Re
The move combines reinsurance and capital solutions under the Marsh Re name, positioning the unit to expand offerings amid more complex risk.
Insurance Journal reports that Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance arm of Marsh, has been rebranded as Marsh Re, retiring a name that has been used in insurance and reinsurance for more than 100 years.
In a statement, Dean Klisura, president and CEO of Marsh Re, described the change as a new chapter designed to enhance how the firm serves clients in an increasingly complex risk environment.
According to the announcement materials, Marsh Re brings together reinsurance and capital solutions, with expanded capabilities and deeper collaboration supported by Marsh.
Marsh Re says the rebranded platform also broadens access to solutions across risk, reinsurance and capital, as well as people and investments, and management consulting, aimed at helping clients navigate complex challenges.
