ADP shows private payrolls rise slows in August
Private payroll growth of 38,000 was the smallest increase since January, pointing to a broader labor market slowdown.
CNBC reports that ADP found U.S. private payrolls rose by 38,000 in August, but the increase came in below expectations.
The outlet said August marked the smallest gain since January, even though job creation remained positive.
