B.AI says free-access campaign surpasses 2 trillion tokens in 7 days
The platform points to Aug. 17 as the start of the run, after it opened free access to DeepSeek V4 Flash and reported 220 billion tokens in one day.
Crypto infrastructure platform B.AI said its sitewide free-access campaign crossed 2 trillion tokens in cumulative throughput as of Aug. 24, marking what it described as a record-breaking week for developer usage.
According to CryptoSlate, the surge began on Aug. 17 when B.AI opened free access to DeepSeek V4 Flash, reporting 220 billion tokens in a single day, then expanded to free access for Tencent Hy3, DeepSeek-V4-Flash-Vision-Exp, and Xiaomi MiMo-V2.5.
The company said the traffic spike is meant to demonstrate that its architecture can handle large, concurrent production workloads at scale, alongside enterprise-grade availability.
B.AI also claimed its hybrid API model can drive costs down by up to 90% and offers baseline price cuts of 10% to 40% off market rates through an Official versus Custom Provider access approach.
