Kalshi suspends North Carolina candidate for self-betting
The exchange imposed a three-year ban after the candidate bought under $1,000 in contracts tied to her own race.
Kalshi has suspended North Carolina Republican candidate Laurie Buckhout after she placed small bets tied to her own electoral campaign, according to Decrypt.
The outlet reports Buckhout bought less than $1,000 of contracts related to her race.
Following the transaction, Kalshi imposed a three-year ban, Decrypt said.
