ArbitrumDAO income climbed to $6.19 million in 2026 H1

The Arbitrum Expansion Program generated $360,000 in July license fees, about 35% of that month’s DAO income.

ArbitrumDAO collected $6.19 million of income in the first half of 2026, according to the Arbitrum Foundation’s Bi-Annual Progress Update for the six months ended June 30. In July, the DAO’s income was driven by fees from a chain it does not operate, highlighting a concentration shift away from Arbitrum One transaction fees.

The Foundation said income came across four lines, including Arbitrum One transaction fees, Timeboost, Arbitrum Expansion Program license fees, and treasury income. It also reported that the collective gross margin on protocol revenue exceeded 97%, up from more than 90% for full-year 2025.

Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, chains that settle outside Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova return 10% of net protocol revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem. Because Robinhood Chain settles to Ethereum, it pays under that program instead of through Arbitrum One fees, with The Defiant previously noting Arbitrum would capture 10% of Robinhood Chain fees.

The update pegged July Arbitrum Expansion Program license fees at $360,000, or 35% of ArbitrumDAO income that month, implying roughly $1.03 million in total July income. It added that Robinhood Chain carried $1.43 billion in decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours and paid $3.75 million in chain fees, versus Arbitrum One’s $193 million in volume and $14,746 in fees, with Robinhood Chain also showing higher total value locked, $757.1 million versus $1.38 billion for Arbitrum One.
