Fairshake backs Jake Auchincloss as crypto attention shifts to November

The crypto super PAC, which has more than $122 million ready for action, is using the end of primaries to position for November congressional control, with roughly 97% to 99% odds on Polymarket and Kalshi for several Senate hopefuls.

U.S. primary elections are winding down ahead of the November general election, and crypto’s super PACs have notched additional wins, including support from Fairshake for incumbent Democratic Rep. Jake Auchincloss in Massachusetts, according to CoinDesk.

CoinDesk reports that Fairshake, described as the campaign finance giant for the industry, has more than $122 million ready for action. In the primaries, it backed a “shoe-in” candidate in Massachusetts and added Auchincloss to a growing list of winners, bringing the number of pro-crypto candidates supported by the super PAC to about 50.

The outlet also points to Fairshake’s Republican primary support this year, including Senate primary wins it helped secure for Barry Moore in Alabama, Andy Barr in Kentucky, Kevin Hern in Oklahoma, and Harriet Hageman in Wyoming. CoinDesk notes these candidates are expected to win their general elections and join the Senate next year as crypto advocates.

CoinDesk adds that the next Senate could be significant for pending crypto legislation, especially efforts tied to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, and that Fairshake’s biggest spending miss to date was its attempt to defeat Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton in her primary.
